Creator Points are what you spend to get seen first on Lit - in brand search, on the homepage, on the Top Influencers pages, and when you're applying to a campaign. Here's exactly how it all works.
Creator Points are Lit's internal currency for creators. You spend them to boost your own visibility - nothing to do with what brands pay you, and completely separate from your Wallet earnings. Think of it like Upwork Connects, if you've used Upwork before: a currency just for standing out, not for getting paid.
You'll see two balances on your Boosts page. They work differently on purpose:
From buying a bundle, converting your Wallet balance, or an EFT top-up. Spend it on any featured placement - search, homepage, Top Influencers, the brand dashboard, or an editorial feature.
Every creator gets a small free grant on the 1st of each month, automatically. It's only ever usable for one thing: bidding to boost a campaign application. It can't buy a featured placement, and it doesn't roll over - use it or it resets next month.
Why the split? So everyone gets a real shot at boosting their application to a campaign they want, whether or not they've ever spent a cent - while featured placements (search, homepage, etc.) stay something you actually pay for.
Pay with BobPay from your Boosts page. Bigger bundles come with a better rate per point.
Turn existing Wallet earnings into points at a flat, no-bonus rate - a convenience if you'd rather not pay again, not the best deal on the page.
Prefer a bank transfer? Get in touch with the team and we'll credit your points once payment's confirmed.
Every one of these is paid from Boost Balance only - your monthly free points can't be spent here. Prices and available lengths are set by the team and shown right on the Boosts page.
The three "feature" boosts are one-time and staff-produced (not automatic) - buying one queues you in, and our team creates the actual content.
This one's different from every other boost - it's competitive, and it's the only place your free monthly points can be spent. Once you've applied to a campaign, you can bid points to get your application pinned to the top for the brand to see first.
Apply to the campaign first. You can only boost an application that already exists.
Place a bid from that same page - minimum 20 points to get started. Free points and paid points both count, so if you've never bought a single point you can still bid with your monthly free grant.
Top 10 bids win a boosted spot. The brand sees boosted applications first, regardless of anything else.
Outbid? We'll tell you. You can top up your bid any time before the campaign's application window closes, to try to reclaim your spot.
Bids are final. The points spend the moment you bid - if you're later outbid, they aren't refunded. Only bid what you're genuinely willing to spend to be seen first.
No. Boosting is about visibility, not your underlying reputation - your Lit Score is untouched either way.
Once a boost is active, it runs its full length. For application bids specifically, points are spent the instant you bid and are never refunded, even if you're later outbid.
No - your free monthly grant resets on the 1st. Unused points from last month don't carry over.
No. Free points only ever work for campaign application bidding - featured placements always require paid points.
