Introduction to Platforms

What is a Platform? #

A platform, refers to any social or online medium where you, as an influencer, engage with your audience. This could be your Instagram account, your YouTube channel, a personal blog, or even a podcast.

What makes up a platform:

  • Type: The platform type you are linking, we include many major platforms by default and support custom links
  • Link: Your link, handle, tag, or unique platform name. We’ll use this to serve your social links to potential advertisers
  • Audience Size: The size of your following on that platform, such as follows, subscribers, etc. Please note that the Lit admin team will review your platform and update this figure periodically.
  • Engagement Metrics: Crucial data that provides insights into your audience’s activity—likes, comments, shares, average watch time, etc. Please note that the Lit admin team will review your platform and update this figure periodically.
  • Price: Ensure you set a competitive price. For more information, read our guide on how to price your platform.
