Engagement metrics

Why is this important? #

Displaying the correct engagement metrics for your platform is vitally important as this helps Brands and Agencies get a good idea as to how many people engage and interact with your social media profile.

How is this calculated? #

Each platform is reviewed separately to ensure accurate metrics are calculated for the platform profile.

The engagement metrics are calculated based on the average number of views, likes or reach your profile has received for its most recent posts. Note that outlier values are not taken into account as this will give an inaccurate average engagement.

Example #

The average engagement for the above 5 videos is 40k views.

(53400 + 55000 + 21100 + 23700 + 46900) ÷ 5 = 40020

Note: The above example has a post with an outlier value which means it is not included in the calculation – only 5 videos are taken into consideration.

For our internal vetting and reviews, we use 10 of your last videos, excluding pinned and excluding outliers (videos with views that are much lower or higher than your average).
